X2 MR2 crashes while trying to backplot

Since downloading MR2 last week I have been having trouble with master cam crashing while trying to backplot. It dosent seem to matter if it is a large 3-D file or a simple 2-D toolpath. So far I have uninstalled all older versions of X and reloaded X2 MR2. I have not seen a differance . Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appericated.

What video card are you using? I had similar trouble in The early versions of MCamX. Make sure you are using a driver that is recommended by you reseller.

I've had driver issues a couple times when after upgrading.

I am using a Nvidia Qoadro FX 1100 video card. I have noticed it will only crash when I press the S for step in backplot too soon.

That's the key. It happens here too. Others have mentioned it here on the forum as well.

This is a known (and logged) issue.

If you just let backplot get all the way up before slammin' the keys, you should be OK.

what if you just use the step forward and back icons at teh top?? same? I'm still on mr1...

That works just fine.

It is only if you are punching keys while the backplot VCR bar is being "built" on the screen.
