This is whwere I am at now it has varied "slightly" since that thread.

 

1 - View Manager

2 - Named WCS

3 - Named Planes

4 - Create Plane by Geometry

5 - Level Manager

6 - ISO View

7 - ALT

8 - Delete

9 - ALT + C

 

A - Solid Shading

B - Op Manager

C - esc Button

 

Some of these will require you to map key functions for them and then record them into the settings as macros

You mean the keymapping part?

 

The 3d Connexion software has many of the Mastercam functions already available upon installation, there are some of the ones I added that you must create a keystroke for in Mastercam, then in the "Space" hardware you can record that keystroke combination as a macro and the software will perform it as if you actually hit the keystokes on the keyboard.

So you can make any button on the spaceball do just about anything in mcam.

 

Thats so refreshing...

 

Ive been playing around with it (whenever my boss is not looking) for about an hour now and im loving it.

 

Cant wait to become a master at what all the keys do so i wont have to look at the little cheat sheet that i made.

WHATEVER!!! Maybe your making xxx,xxx but im not and when its coming out of my own pocket then im happy to save $400.

 

If $400 dollars is nothing to you then send me a space pilot for christmas.

I run my own company and have to be very careful where the dollars get spent.

I have the SpaceMouse at home and the new SpaceNavigator at work, I bought both of them and can't imagine working without them. The SpaceNav is only $50 bucks, you can't go wrong!
