Lathe Quick Verify

I haven't really messed around much with version x, but on mc9.1 you could quick verify on the lathe. is this possible on the new version? the current programmer here is having some trouble with this option. thanks

What do you mean "quick" verify? Verify, yes.

Right Click in the operation Manager

for instance whenever you run a blackplot onth emill and hit the quick verify tab, the cutting area will turn grey. that's what i mean. it's a little bit easier to see then just the tool path lines.

yes its there. let you mouse hover over the backplot controls till the popup appears.. one of them is Quick Verify.

i tried the button but all it does is outlines the profile of the completed part. only if there was a way to verify a certain tool path with a color marking. that's what we're trying to accomplish. maybe a setting is turned off?

There are two buttons with lines and a dot on the video controls. (just to the right of fast forward)

When the left button with 3 lines is depressed

the entire toolpath is shown. If that button and quick verify is on, you see the finished part.

If you press the single lineand hit rewind then play you will see the cuts as the happen.

You can also step back and forth through your toolpaths with teh S and B keys.
