Steady Rest in Mill Turn Apps

Anyone have any ideas as to why I can't define a steady rest in MR2 in MillTurn? I can pick a 2-d geometry feature (chained complete) a solid and a block. Using original position as location. System seems to accept it ok but it is not on and still says undefined on the stock screen? Anyone have any ideas? Tailstock works fine and Chucks work fine.

make sure that component is actually added to the machine def component list.

Yes, I have tried it, both as a steady rest group and also under Miscellaneous, with the same result, always undefined after picking it?

You caould ALWAYS call CAD/CAM COnsulting to have them help you get that squared away. They are in Anaheim off the 91 and Kramer...

FYI:

It appears that the steady rest is a bug in X2. CAD/CAM Consultants can't get it defined either. The problem has been reported to CNC Associates.
