I am looking for a way to drill tubes starting from the to and feeding through the first wall then rapid to the the top of the bottom then feeding the rest of the way. Can this be done with a custom drill cycle or is there a better way? I have been doing it longhand posting my X and Y from Mastercam and editing the code.

I am using X2 and the MPMASTER post

You can approach this several ways. Easiaest would be to have a model in 3-D and just pick the top hole then pick the bottom hole and change the top of stock on the bottom hole. It will rapid up to the r plane after finishing the top but will rapid down to the new r plane for the bottom hole. Slow, but at least you wouldn;t have to edit anything.

I do this with two drill cycles. The first one drills the top of the tube all along using geometry at the top of the tube. Clearance ABS - Top of Stock INC - 0, retract INC - .1

The second drill cycle drills the holes in reverse using the geometry at the top of the wall on the opposite side. Using the same settings as above. I reverse the drill order also.
