cutter Recommendation needed

I am going to be doing 5 axis cylinder head porting and I need to get a few long reach ball mills (4" from tool holder) in .5" and .25" diameters. Any idea what would work well for this? I will be doing a fair amount of this so I would be interested in indexable tooling along with regular carbide cutters.

Dan Schnars [i think that's the spelling] from Robert Yates Racing is / was a forum member, and I think there was at least one other guy that was doing that type of work out here. I'd do a search for that type of thread and email those guys directly; they should hook you up with real-world experience.

Did you look at SECO or ISCAR for their Multimaster system of ~Indexable tools?

I think you can get shanks upto 200mm (8") if not more......
