I can't seem to figure this one out. Somtimes it works, sometimes it says "intersection not found". I think I'm trying to treat it like "project" though. How should I have my planes and geometry set up? Seems like if I have a part looking at it from the top view and I want to split it along the "y" axis, I should be in Top with wcs and the cplane set accordingly and draw a line over where I want it split. Although it's almost like its always perpandicular to my cplane. What am I missing?

Thanks

+1 for selecting the plane first. You should also get in the habit of using the "apply" button. If you select the plane, then the geometry, and hit the "ok" check button, it can be spotty. If you select the plane, set the depth (if necessary), select the geometry, then press "apply", it always works. This is assuming that your slice plane (at what ever depth you choose) actually intersects the solid.
