Tool filter staying checked

There was some talk about this a while back and I don't think anyone found an answer. How can I make it so my tool filter box is NOT checked by default? In the toolpath parameters page, if I click Select Library Tool, my library comes up with the filter box checked. It never used to be and I don't know what I did to make it stick.

I've tried unchecking it, then immediately saving my config file. I've tried setting the filter to all tools, then saving my config file. No luck.

If I have to, I'll have my little buddy RtvReco take care of it for me.

I tried Rons advice, but it appears that once the Filter is on, it won't go off!

I suggest that you contact CNC about this.... In the meantime you could go into your Operation Defaults (via the Control Definition), go into your 2D contour page, press Select Library Tool, press Filter and configure it to show all of the tool instead of a few of them. Not idel but if it's really getting on your nerves then it's worth a go (works for me).

I think it got it set up to filter all tools, which will work, but I ran across something strange in the process.

How can I have all tools selected and have filter checked, but the filter says 105 of 172 tools. headscratch.gif Shouldn't it say 172 of 172 tools? What's up with those 67 tools?
