geometry gone

Hi,guys:

 

Open file,get warning:

drafting entity contains forward pointer- associativity removed.

 

All geometry gone.Anybody know what happen and how to recovery the geo.

Before open the file, in preview window there is the geometry.Once open,you get nothing.

Are you using X2 and using the backup? If so call up the last back-up if not probably lost the file. I do not use preview it causes all types of issues. Go in to the configuration and turn off save bit map.

This happened to me once and it was caused by

creating a dimension and hitting escape before the

green check mark. So always check mark and undo

instead of canceling with escape.

 

When you save the file it becomes corrupt

if you save again the back up is corrupt too.

(hopefully, like Crazy says you have multiple

backups)

 

I believe the SP1 fixed this with X2 MR2.

 

It has never happen to me again and i tried to

re-occur it over and over.

So sad,no any back-up.

Very simple drawing ,but size was approved.I don't like save any paper file.Mcx file is the only one.

First time know MCx2 has backup feature.

Hope to get some messages

give some detail insruction to finish up-loading.
