finish contour direction

i have a surface finish contour and everything is grand except i want to rotate the direction of the toolpath 90 degrees. i can't find an input for this.

 

i'm still pretty new with mastercam . . obviously . . . there must be a way . .

Maybe I'm not thinking outside the bun...err box, but how you gonna do that? Surface Finish Contour cuts the surface in a Z planer fashion. You can cut one way or zig zig, but either way, it's going to follow the surface. It doesn't work like a Surface Finish Parallel.

 

Maybe you want to try a Surface Finish Parallel?

Don't be shy about asking what you might think is a dumb question. We were all new at this at one point in time. There is so much to be learned from reading other people's questions and answers. It may seem silly to one person, meanwhile someone else reads it and says, "I was wondering how to do that too!"
