Selecting Drive Surfaces

Hello: I cannot seem to figure out what I am doing wrong ??? When selecting a drive it picks the whole part. Which is ok . But then when I go to select the

check surfaces it selects again all the drive surfaces. And I can't seem to select what I want ?

Is there something that I need to "turn off" or "turn on" . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You can create surface form solids by > Create > Surface> Create Surface from Solid. Then put these on a new level and close the Solids level now you can pick away. Another way is you can bring in only the surfaces when you import a file, select the options button after selecting the file and click on the Trimmed Surfaces button.

You should be able to select a solid face as a drive surface. After you select the type of surface that want use, you will see a icon on the toolbar that has a blue block and a green check mark. Select that icon and you will turn on the icons that allow you to select the solid face(s)as your drive surfaces. Do the same for your check surfaces.

Hope this helps,

Mike
