G76 threading help

Its been a while since I ran a lathe

and I need some help with a threading cycle.

Its a Mitsubishi control ( 99% Fanuc compatible)

I'm threading with a live center and I'm getting

.004 taper ( big on the end) so I need program a

-.004 taper in the G76 threading cycle.

If I remeber right, I just figure out the taper angle

and add an R-( the taper angle) to the second G76 line.

Is this right??

Is there a better way??
