1 Op NOT posting

John

I shut my PC down and reopened the MC file.

Then I select the group and posted it. It goes to the editor but there is nothing there. It does not even make a NC file to where the NC file is mapped too.

I then deleted the machine groups after this machine group and it now posts great.

I have been seeing some really weird stuff when I have more than 1 machine def in a MC file.

And this seems like another example of weird things happening with more than 1 machine def in a MC file.

David,

Mastercam loads a copy of the Machine Definition and Control Definition into your Mastercam .MCX file.

I have seen these "file" copies get corrupted time and time again.

Next time you have a problem, do a "replace" on every machine file that you have loaded into your your operations manager. Doing this, more often than not, fixes a whole host of problems.

I do this out of habit, EVERY time I open a file that I've been working on before.

It's great insurance.

HTH,
