Fanuc macro question

On a two channel fanuc like a 16tb on a twin turret lathe. does each channel get its own set of variables? Also does each channel get its own set of macro call arguments?

Example

channel 1 - G65 P9001 H10. (H assigning local #11 = 10.)

channel 2 - G65 P9002 H100.

TIA

Thanks, I didn't want to interupt production to check and I couldn't find the manuals.

I have been thinking of writing some macros to handle things that mastercam doesn't in our Swiss types. Like part eject and Head stock re-grip on the part.

as far as I can tell there are no canned cycle/macros in the machine for these features. Right now I have a post that has a mix of some hard coding and post questions to handle these functions, however I am not a big fan of hard coding lots of stuff into posts. It paints you into a corner with your posted code and then requires hand editing of code. Thats why I am thinking about a couple of simple macros.
