x2 mr2 sp1 and hp laptop

wondering if any one can help me I am trying to run x2 mr2 sp1 on a hp mobile workstation intel core 2 duo cpu t7500 @2.20 GHz 4 gig of ram, nvidia quadro fx 1600M. To start x2 opens rather slow but not too bad, after it opens it will go to not responding then it comes back. and it keeps going in and out like this. andy ideas

Seems odd that it wont run

Maybe something went wroong while installing??

Try a repair install

Just picked this up for a worker here so he can put MCX2 MR2 SP1

Do you have Microsoft Framework .NET 2.0

installed on this laptop?

X2 will not run without it.

unistalled completley and reistalled and updated and still it would do the same. It will go from not responding to usuable back and forth. Microsoft Framework .NET 2.0 is installed too

Turning off the splash screen at startup (using the Mastercam V Control Panel Applet) will speed it up on startup.

 

On you Display Properties, try unchecking "enable write combining" if it is checked.
