Highspeed Toolpaths on a Toolroom Bed Mill

I'm new to the forum and High speed toolpaths. Has anyone used these on a mill where you can't run the high speeds and feeds? Obviously I can just slow everything down, but then would it be just as efficient to run the old toolpaths?

I'm in an R&D Test Lab and cycle times aren't always a priority with us, but we would like to at least try to stay competitive.

We have big and slow machines here and we use these toolpaths all the time. The machining technique and toolpaths created are a lot better for the machine and the tools themselves.

Use them hear on those types of machines also. I like how they are easier on the tool myself.

Continuing with the HST questions.... where do you define the Home position? My only guess is that it's somewhere in the Stock Setup. (Should I start a new topic to go down this road)?
