Hi,

I am currently using V9 SP1. Is it possible to change the size of the pixels when zooming in on the verifed part, I have machined some small rads and when I zoom in the part looks like a Hexagon not a Radius. The display control is set to full quality using true solid in turbo mode. Any Ideas.

I think at best, you'll get .001 (Inches) resolution out of it. Sounds like you're doing something that requires you to check the thing under a microscope.

Moving the quality slider is the only way I have found to keep radii from looking like allen heads.

James,

Thanks for your reply, your spot on again, yes I do check it under a Microscope and this other dandy non contact measuring thing we have called a Smartscope. It's quite amazing what you can see and measure at 800 to 1 Magnification. I guess that I have reached the limitations of Mastercams verify so I perhaps need to take a look at something else maybe Predator or Vericut. Has anyone else tried doing something like this with any of the verification products that are currently out there? Thanks in advance cheers.gif

I got a good look at Metacut at the annual dealer conference and was EXTREMELY impressed with it's speed, functionality and quality. He verified a 1G NC file in a few minutes, the quality was great.

Metacut is a lot more than a verifier, it really does help you analyze your 3D toolpaths in a way I've never seen anywhere else. Good stuff, good price.
