Solid Drill

Good Morning ,

I have just upgraded to Solids and I have a question regarding solid drill. When using solid drill in the advanced drill mode I would like to control the peck drill depth. MasterCam spits out a small peck depth and I would like to increase the peck or eliminate the peck altogether. The only way I was able to do this was after the tool path was created. Is there a place in solid drilling parameter page where I can control the peck depth? I have V9 Level 3.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

Set the default peck depth in the tool definition in the tool library. That's where most of the parameters are set from since solid drill picks your tools for you and does not give the opportunity to set the parameters until later.

Got to set it to something I guess - might as well use how the tool is stored in the library.
