toolpath defaults

Hello,

Does anyone know how to keep defaults for toolpaths.

When writing, for example a drill cycle for mill and I enter a negative R plane (retract)

the next time I write a drill cycle the neg R plane is there by default.

As you can imagine this will cause problems when the neg r plane is not needed

Go to settings then control definition,then operation defaults way at the bottom left of the screen then you can open up the parameters for any of the toolpaths you want to change.You can set your rapid plane,filter,etc.when you are done making changes be sure to check save to defaults button before exiting.

It should be noted however that mastercam will remember the previous setting for a toolpath the next time you use that particular toolpath within that same file.

Always gone to my control definition through my machine definition manager, but can only get to operation default through control definition manager.

under the machine group properties,tool settings page check the box "override defaults with modal values"
