What kind of machine? What level of Mastercam do you have? What experience do you have with 5 axis? Do you have a surface profile requirements? Does it get heat treated? Are the blade normals to any surface? Can you do a lot of the ruffing in 3 axis mode then finish it is 5 axis mode? Got a file you can share or maybe just one blade? How many blades? Can you do one and make it a sub program and then just rotate an axis?

A couple questions I can think of off the top of my head.

Disclaimer: I am not trying to call anyone stupid when I ask questions like this. I do not know some people's skill level for all I know you blow me out of the water. Also I need this information to give the best possible response I can. Thanks and have a good day.

This is an Okuma MU table-table machine. My X2 is level 3 with all 5 axis options. I have 1.5 experience with 5 axis. This part is a aluminum cast with .020 stock. This has a main plate and splitter very steep angle. Please show me how to upload the bmp on this forum to share with you. Thank you so much for helping.

If you do a search there are many topics talking about how to share a bmp. Do you have a photobucket account or something like that to share photos. If you do make sure you are on long response and there is a button on the bottom that says image. Click on it and then paste the url from the web site where you got your photo.

HTH and if you want to email me the file I would be glad to take a look at it for you.
