They just had a "meeting" at Dave & Busters earlier this month (or was it the end of Jan?). I didn't go this time, but I've been to a couple others in the past. They're put on by Axsys. They do a presentation on the projector, have a nice meal and you get to mingle with other MC users. Best of all, they're FREE! They usually have one out your way, and then one in Grand Rapids.

Yes I have been to those in the past. I was

kind of referring to a group that meets more

regularly and discusses ideas and machining

stratigies. The Axsys meetings are more

showing new functionality of the current

release and to boost seat sales.

That's what I thought. That's why I put meeting in quotes.

 

I don't know of anything like that around here. It's too bad.

Your right it is to bad. I guess with the

way our region has been hit lately, most

people are just concerned about keeping their

job and/or finding a second part time job to

make ends meet. Maybe something will start up

from this forum.
