Break arcs?

I was wondering why everything defaults to not allow 360 arcs? Do some controls not handle it? Is it less accurate? It sure makes for a smaller NC file, which is great for me becuase our old crappy machines have not so much memory

You are correct some controls do not support it. make sure you test to see if your control handles it .

If you are going to try it, do some exxperiments first.

Some controls just stop when they get an arc command they don't like, others do a 360° arc

the wrong way to satify the X and Y endpoints

in the arc command. This will usually destroy

your part and your endmill.

Thanks for input guys, I had actually changed all of these setting probabley a year ago or so, for all of the old school low-tech stuff, they my machines will support 360 arcs, even helix.
