multiple pieces on lathe

I need to turn and part off five pieces per run cycle. when I try to apply tools to the second and third pieces etc. the alarm comes up that I will collide with stock because it still thinks the part is still there when in fact it has been parted off and is now gone. Is there a solution to this problem? Thanks

Program the part once and use a macro or sub-program routine to step it in.

See if this works. In your cutoff parameters go into "stock update" and switch it to "keep piece in active chuck" That should keep your remaining stock in the chuck and the part will be in the chip tray

Thanks Rob, that solved my problem. I did realize that I could step it in as John suggested but I'm new to the lathe programming side of things and am just trying out different things to find out how things work. So thanks for all your suggestions
