I'd contact their technical support:

Apparently it's a discontinued product though.

I used one a few times when I worked at Prototek Engineering (Mastercam reseller), they might still have the drivers. Ask Roger: rpeterson(at)prototek-engineering.com

Thank you all for your replies!

I want to get my points/lines/splines into Mastercam. I figure I have to have some driver/software to get it running since it's an old device with serial cable. From what I've read today I need something called MicroScribe Utility Software and that should be enough to get the points into Mastercam.

We could contact the owner of the arm, but even if they have a CD I wouldn't get it for a couple days.

Ron you've got mail!

bjorn, I have one of those little arms.

It is only good for about +/- .006 in a 50" sphere.

I had to use 3rd party software with Mastercam X and above.

I f I remember correctly, Ver 8 was the only one that would work with the simple Utility drivers...

When I upgraded to 9, I had to use 3rd-party stuff...

But for reverse engineering Coons. Verisurf is the way to go....it makes nice smooth surfaces..

I would not use that arm for inspection unless your tolerances were +/- .01.
