Analyze information

I recently took a MC class and I thought there was a way to minimize the amount of information that is given when you analyze something. There is an excess of information that I don't need to see that just clutters things, for what I'm doing. How can I get it to only give me the basic information about the entity that I have selected? I would like to know the XYZ location, dia/rad, whether it's an arc, line or point, what angle it sits at, but I could care less what the entity number is, what date it was created, geometry or toolpath references...etc.

Jay,

That shows me the information that I prefer to see, but I thought there was a hot key or some option setting that would give me only the basic information on the entity selected (down at the bottom of the screen). Also, unless I'm using the analyze option specifically to edit something, having Y selected is just as annoying as sifting through a paragraph of info just to find out an arc's radius. smile.gif

Sorry mbuster, but that's not it either. smile.gif Thank you for your reply. I'll email my instructor and see if he can tell me.

((Thad sitting in class)) Hey that's neat! I don't have to right it down though...I'll remember it. Doh! mad.gif

I stand corrected. I just realized that the area at the bottom of the screen where you can limit the amount of information is in the verify mode, not the analyze mode. I confused something else with something that I *wish* I could do. redface.gif
