Holder bug in X4?

Recommended Posts

1) Select a holder when creating a high speed toolpath.

2) Copy and paste that generated toolpath below the original.

3) Select a different holder on the copied toolpath and regenerate.

4) Backplot the copied toolpath and everything looks fine.

5) Backplot the original toolpath and notice that the tool is being backplotted with the holder from the copied toolpath.

I'll submit this to CNC if I don't get a solution from our fellow forum members.

I forgot to add this in step 2 above. "Select a different tool holder and tool with a new tool number and regenerate"

I have ALWAYS copied my toolpaths and selected new tools and tool holders without a problem since the inception of gouge checking with toolholders until now. If I used tool #3 in operation 1 with holder a and use tool # 4 in operation 2 in holder b, operation 1 should NEVER change to holder b. Something is wrong.
