Error at startup

Hope you guys can help me out.

 

After downloading and installing X4 (migrate) and leaving X3 intact, I'm getting an error when I start the program.

"ERROR (L83,C:mcamx4configmastercam.mtb)"

 

Also none of the pdf files will open.

 

Any ideas?

.mtb is your toolbars configuration. check the folder and make sure that file actually exists.

It's in the folder. "mastercam.mtb"

You have toolbars assigned to chooks or 3rd party add-ons that you haven't installed for X4 yet. Your .mtb file is looking for these and can't find them, thus the error. Possibly Moldplus, X+, UG or Catia translator, etc?

...or custom toolbars that you made for standard MC features.

OK, I installed the add-ons and am still getting the same error message. Anything else you can think of - seems like a something simple I've overlooked.

Everytime I got a new version of MC the IT guy would have to adjust the security on all of those folders; for some reason I wouldn't have permission.
