Chain delete problem?

Hi all,

 

Just noticed that when i delete a chain from a contour and hit regen it throws up an error saying 'The operation has 0 toolpath entities remaining' which you would expect to see since the chain has been deleted....But, it just regens it anyway, and when you go into backplot it runs the old chain that has just been deleted.

Is this a bug?

submit the fle to your reseller. they should forward it to CNC.

Good observation, it will even post it but since it throws the warning every time you regen I can't see the big danger in this.

That really can't be good! It shouldn't post something that isn't there. Could be dangerous.

well it does give you a warning every time you regen, so if YOU delete the chain and YOU ignore the warning when using regen, then.........dude, you are on your own

Dude?? Did you get the warning? If you delete some of your geometry and regenerate what is left you get no warning! It regenerates the deleted points and will post them out. Sometimes it doesn't show in a verify if it is outside your part dimensions.
