Nesting Prototype Functions warning

Installed X4 today. Now when I open Geometry Nesting I first get the warning about Prototype functions and an access code request. How do I turn this off. It doesn't inhibit the use of the nesting dialogue but it's annoying. I only got this in X3 if I tried using the beta/prototype functions while in nesting but now it happens when I initialize nesting.

Did they give you a different code for the hasp back in X3 to use those prototype functions? Maybe it is hanging on that code? Check with your reseller.

Never got a code when we went to X3 from V9.

This is a problem with X4. There is no way to get rid of it right now without a fix on our end. Not having the code will NOT affect the nesting function.

Hi Jim,

 

We have the same problem on customer's computer. It doesn't happen when I plug in my dealer HASP but we do get the error when using customer's HASP.

 

Hope the MR will fix this error.

I am getting the same problem. Beta testing screen pops up. Every time they release a software it is more headache. It takes MORE time to go around the non-sense stuff then time you should be saving. If time and productivity is such a big deal to Mastercam (it is to me) they should test their products a little better before release. Also human-factors of some sort need to figure a way to make menus simple and not overcomplicated with gazillion of non-sense options just for a 2D router job. EPIC fail!
