regular crt to lcd monitors

ok the other day the it guy changed out my dual crt's for flat panel 20" lcd's. now when i undock the op manager and put it on the other screen and i have more than 45/46 operations and it goes off the bottom of the screen i cant get to the last ops.

 

so how do you get it back to normal without putting the op manager back on the main screen.

I have had this same problem since X2MR2. After that many operations I have to dock my operation manager back on the other monitor so I can scroll up and down and see the ops at the bottom. I guy who works with me has the same monitors as I do and he never has this problem.

I've had something similar. now i just leave the ops manager docked.

 

does it bother anyone else that people can develop amazingly quick and reactive pc games, yet we deal with all sorts of BASIC graphics issues like this?????

This happens when you have two monitors of differing resolutions. In my office I have 2 22" widescreens. Both display as I woudl expect. Docked in the office no issues.

 

I go home, plug in my 2nd monitor that is NOT wodescreen (unlike my laptop), I have to re-size stuff. This is NOT an MC problem. This happens with Windows Exploder, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Solidworks Viewer, etc...

there both the same size and resolution. same hertz also as i asked my it guy about this.

I've got two identical samsung 20" and it does it. Experimented with nvidia nview on and off, and all sorts of the nview options.

Docked at work I have no issues.

 

Are you running MC on your secondary monitor and dragging OPS Manager and stuff over to your primary?

once you get your op manager the way you like it, save your toolbar defs. That makes it work for me.

My monitors are not the same size. I'll have to check the resolution.

I have a 22 inch wide screen LCD and a 20 CRT, no issues here.
