Here is a tuff one.

 

Fanuc 0 controls have a parameter in there exec for controlling how files are communicated from the machine to the pc.

 

It seems the default setting for this adds carriage returns and line feeds.

 

I have been unable to recall were this setting is in the control.

 

Anyone know?

I just use the CR/LF (10) setting in Cimco Edit communications to strip out the extra CR

It has been a few years since I did machine service, but if memory serves me, I believe if you set parameter 70.7 (leftmost bit) to 1 it will output only a LF character. (Instead of CR LF LF. When you set the parameter, make sure you keep the other bits as they were.
