V9.1 disk

Does anyone know if the V9.1 is still available? I upgraded computers and have tried several methods to get in installed. My new computer will not read the original disk.I would like to upgrade but the times are tough.

Hi Matt,

 

I could make a copy of 9.1 disk and mail it, but wouldn't you have the same problem reading it as you would with the orig disk???

Well the computer tells me the disk cannot be found. So I'm guessing that the disk is bad. We tried copying from the old hard drive but get the hasp not found error ( I have a good hasp, have used it for years). Tried the patch or repair suggested here, with no luck.

Check with your reseller on Monday, if he can't help I'll send you a copy of a v9.1 disk.

A couple simple questions...

 

Does the CD drive in the new PC work with any CDs ? Maybe the new PC has a bad drive or disconnected cable...

 

Have you tried your old MC disk in a different PC with a known good CD drive ?

 

I've had issues with bad drives at work and sometimes had to install MC and other programs through the network. It takes longer but it works.

V9 users might want to check this out

With the release of X4, V9 became the Dusk release

( not supported, not for sale can be updated)

 

When X5 comes out next spring or summer

V9 will be a dead release.. meaning you'll get zero credit towards an upgrade..

 

If you've been meaning to upgrade your V9 and have been putting it off, don't put it off

past next spring or it will cost you a ton of money..

Disk does not work on any other pc's either. I will call Prototek and see if I can get a disk.

Are you on a network? If so you may have to log in as administrator to get the system to read the disk.
