Phantom entities

I believe Solidworks 2009sp3 is corrupting the graphics capability in MC. I've had the same problem on 2 different machines.

I'm just starting to use X4 MU3 from X2Mr2. I'm having the same problem with phantom entities. Just looking for an update on if anything will be done to fix this or are we just doing the workaround until X5?

I've had this problem for quite awhile now and it's very frustrating. I do not have solidworks and my system is fairly old. The regenerate display command sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't. The only sure fire way to remove the phantom entities for me is to reload the file. I don't have to restart mastercam. I can save the file while the phantom entities are on the screen then just reopen the file and they are gone.

 

The problem with this bug is the fact that I can't submit it to qc with reproducible steps to duplicate the problem. Sometimes it does it, most times it doesn't and it's completely random when it does happen.

I do think its a MC problem, it happens to me when i rotate a part, the old location stays there as a phantom. If re-open the file, it's still there but i can delete it.

If you are referring to the "yellow" ghost lines that can at times appear, I have found and submitted several different ways to create them.

Not yellow lines. I can delete any geometry and it still shows up sometimes same color as the geometry but you can no longer select it. If I close and reopen the file the phantom entities are gone usually.
