Lathe Question

The operator on the lathe just had the lathe do a rapid move to X-.064 and scraped the part. Mastercam shows it working fine but after it was posted the post put a X-.064 in the code. He was asking me if I knew what could cause that. I looked at the program and saw nothing.

 

Does anyone have any idea's what would do this.

 

It is a okuma lathe.

In V9.1 I have seen overcutting happen when the tool is wrongly defined. If instead of a touch off point in Z/X you select the tool nose radius centre point it can overcut but doesn't show in the backplot. Not sure about the rapid though.
