Posting 2 tools with same tool number

The machine operator on the floor caught a big mistake on my part and saved a disaster. I accidentally named two tools, different sizes as T16 and it posted without a warning. IIRC, if I had done that in the past, a warning had popped up asking if that is correct. I looked all over for a setting and could not find it. Is there a setting somewhere to alert me about multiple tool numbers?

I don't think so.

 

I tried renumbering a group of tools and it gave 2

different 1/8 ball (long and Short) 3 different tool

#'s with out warning

 

Other than the warning of a 1/2" em cutting for the 1/8 ball half way down the ribs!!
