For native support you'll need to bootcamp (dual boot) or run it in a virtual machine (my preference). But first, I would upgrade to snow leopard. The 64 bit filesystem is worth its weight in gold. For virtual machines, I use VMware fusion 3. You can then set it up for a windows machine to run at 4 processors and set it at 4GB of ram.

Also if your IT guy tried to install a exe then said it wont work, get a new it guy. Windows is nt mac is unix.

Welcome to the world of apple.

Use boot camp not VMware as you will run into issues. so you will need Bootcamp and a lic of Windows and with a Mac Pro I suggest 64 bit.

This is what I run every day a Mac Pro.

Runs great. but also look at a windows key board and mouse for MC.

Chris is correct Mac is not supported but you are really using the hardware and making it a windows box with the option to go to the Mac side.

Good luck.

There's a pretty darn good complete writeup on installing bootcamp on apple.com. When you start bootcamp assistant, it will tell you to print the same instructions that it has on the site. Really easy, just time consuming and you need to make sure you have it all right. Take your time, and you shouldn't have an issue at all. I totally agree about the bootcamp thing. If you are running dual OS's, I feel that it slows the machine down a bit. Good luck. MacBook's are the bomb diggety.
