mouse trouble on 64bit windows 7

I purchased and installed a new Logitech Laser mouse today.

Downloaded newest drivers - solved erratic problem, BUT still no windowing.

 

Anybody have a suggestion - I must be missing something here.

 

X4MU2 was downloaded direct from mastercam site.

I did this at work also and everything runs great there.

You couldn't have a worse card for cad/cam apps.

First, turn off all the Windows eyecandy

then

go to Settings/System Config/Screen or Alt F8

uncheck the Open GL button

check the GDI button and give it a shot..

If that doesn't work, go back to the same page

and check "disable hardware acceleration"

That should get you going, but performance will be poor.
