Multiaxis license problems

Hello,

 

When I open NHaspX.exe it displays 1 multiaxis license available, as well as our mill3, solids, lathe, etc. When I open MC it typically grabs every license available, but NOT the multiaxis license for some reason. When I try to open the multiaxis toolpaths I get the "not available, contact your mastercam reseller" message.

 

We need to do a 5-axis flowline (or similar) path with the 5th axis deselected, but without the license working we're stuck.

 

Any ideas?

try using the Mastercam Launcher then you can setup a new Icon for the options that you want.

Right click your Desktop shortcut

Choose Properties

add /X5 to your Target location

mine would look like this

C:McamX4Mastercam.exe/X5

Your siggy says you're using X2

my examples show X4.. but this will work

for X2 also

Gcode's got it right on the monkey. You used to have to sign it /x5 /v5 but dependent on which version your running in x3? they got rid of the add on verication for multiaxis.

And come to think of it actually the launcher does the same thing I believe. It just gives you the GUI interface so you know what some of the cryptic codes are.

I tried the launcher first; worked like a charm. 5-axis action all day

Another alternative is to use SettingsNetHaspLicensing to grab/release NetHasp addon or product level licenses without using the command line args or the launcher.

 

But that's not available in X2.
