why mpmaster?

I am trying to figure out how to add tool comments with the staged tool. I'm using mpfan. In most searchs i've found everyone says use mpmaster. I have the mpfan post working great (except the comments) so I don't really want to start from scratch again. Any ideas on the comments. How does mpmaster work differently from other posts, whats the difference?

The addition of many things is the difference. You can take a mpfan post and add the things from MPmaster with no problem. Just takes some work is all.

 

Before you start down that road back up your post and then get to copy and pasting. As you do sections test the post.

I was messing with the mpfan post and I noticed that there isn't any buffers like i see in some mpmaster examples. My question is where do I put the buffer. My work didn't pay maitnence that ran out last friday so I don't know if I can even download mpmaster from there site. This seems a little more complicated than other post editing that i've done.
