THREAD MILL

NEW TO THIS GAME IN V7 I USED CHOOKS FOR CUTTING THREADS.STARTING AT A NEW SHOP AND HAVE SKIPPED V8 TO V9.

IAM ON THREAD MILL PAGE WITH COMPENSATION TYPE AND OVERCUT.THE REST LOOKS OK. DID I MISS SOMTHING IN V7, ALT-C SELECT HELIX PUT IN DATA, CREATE PATH, MACHINE. V9 LOOKS A BIT QUICKER!

This was a change in V8 I believe,you like it?I never tried the thread milling out let me know if you use it.And how it works.

I use the V9 thredmill software alot. I personally think that it works great. What type of problems ate you having? I could tell you what to do but I would need the specs of your threadmill depth of hole and so on.

still dont understand the cutter comp. few more choices has me a bit more , think it was just my transition from v7 2 v9. I skipped over v8.
