use a hanita varimill or a niagara stabilizer end mill with TIALN coating

 

4500rpm+ 40 to 80 IPM for a 4 flutes , add 20% on feed for a 5 flutes .015 to .025 step over and full dept in circle roughing (use circ mill then go to roughing tab) use coolant + air if possible to avoid heat

 

the tool will cut forever smile.gif

 

i cut that crap everyday

 

the naigara stabiliser HT survive pretty well in 304 flame cut...

I've worked with people that said NEVER use coolant with "TiAlN" variable flute endmills.

 

Are you saying coolant is good?
