CNC mill leasing?

We've done it a couple of times for specific projects. However, they were used machines with very simple installs. IE haas vf2's and 2 axis lathes.

They rent machines around here. All used I think. (Normal CNC machines). Such a glut of used machines, I suspect it made sense for dealers. Some people think you should lease from a local company in case you end up in court...

If your company was profitable last year, purchasing would be a better way to go. You can depreciate most of the machine on the first year's taxes (still paying the same amount, but you have a machine for the $$ vs giving it to the gov)

 

You can get a $1 buy out lease quite easily, but you are pretty much buying the machine like above.
