drill long hole on plastic part

Please advise!

I'm drilling a 3/8 hole and 2.5 deep on plastic (delrin).

What kind of drill i should use? rpm and feed recomented?

reamer can be use for this material?

Delrin is a breeze to cut compared to other plastic. Use a good NC spotting drill, and a decent .375 drill and you should be fine. What are the tolerances on the hole? If it is tight, you could try reaming, boring, or helical interpolation if you have an accurate machine and tool holders.

Grind a flat rake on the cutting edge of the drill (standard practice when drilling any plastic) this will give excellent surface finish and hold tolerances very well

delrin drilled/reamed holes spring back some, making an undersized hole in our experience.
