surface finish height.

Hi, I have a part that is being surfaced and the dwg calls for a 125 finish. I am using flowline for the tool path and wanted to know what scallop height I should set to to hold a 125 finish. Does anyone know of a good site that shows the cusps on different surface finish's? Thanks.

Thanks but that doesn't really help me in what I want to know. I'm wondering if there is a formula/chart or something telling what the scallop height is on a 125 surface finish. Unless I'm missing something on the site you linked? (Good possibility, lol)

There is a file on the FTP site called scallop height.xls - its in the Tools folder.

It figures out the RA based on the cutter size and step over. There are two different methods to figure out the RA depending on what data you supply.

Now the only problem I have is I am not sure what the step is cause I told MCam to keep a consistent .0005 scallop height. How would I figure out what the step is? Wouldn't it be different depending on the slope or contour I'm surfacing?
