Where is this feature?

Hello everybody

How can I convert my solid model to solid brick so I can avoid ruined the solid in case by mistake I deleted some of the drive geometry? Also how can I put back in case I need the solid history again to do any changes in the model? Is this the proper way to avoid accidental deleting of the drive geometry?

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks

Solid > find features will only allow you to create history on holes and fillets. It will not do extrude or other solid operations.

Deleting the history is a one-way event. You cannot recover the history.

Your options as others have stated are to make a copy of the solid, and keep the original on another level. You could also save the solid in a seperate file, then use "File > merge pattern to bring it back in.

What I usually do is use the solid model only for 3D roughing operations where I'm picking the whole model and use wireframe and surface geometry for other operations...
