NCI / Regen error

What gives? For the last two weeks I started getting this error when I go to ‘Regen’ my Operations.

bnci_section(): cannot delete nci section!

Temporary File Created c:MCAM9COMMONTEMP 'file name.mc9'

I generally will save, reset the Mastercam session with ‘File, New’ and than read the file I was working on back in. The Operation NCI Icon’s will be bright blue.

Mastercam V9 (May 6 2002), SP1 Mill L3, w/ Solids.

And maybe tomorrow I will get to load up my Beta V9.1

I believe it's tied to a "point"(meaning endpoint, mid point, center point) getting deleted/moved then the operation cannot regenerate since there is no longer a valid point. I've found this on rare occasions and cannot duplicate it at will unfortunately.

On occasion I've had MC drop a chained point

(entry point for a pocket)and subsitute the origin instead. This can cause some very ugly results out on the floor if you don't catch it

as for the

bnci_section(): cannot delete nci section!

Temporary File Created c:MCAM9COMMONTEMP 'file name.mc9'

error, sometimes running the Ramsaver utility will fix it.

Sometimes it won't.
