Pro-e converter

hi,

 

there is a special price for Pro-e and step converters until the end of the year.

it is still expensive.i am thinking about buying it. the reason i didn't buy it until today is that last year i bought the autocad converter and few month later it bacame free.

What do you think??

Well.. lets see, it will work like this:

 

If you buy it at the special price, it will be free with 9.1. If you wait until 9.1, then the special will be over, and it will be full price!

So I belive i should get an answer from cnc.

if i'll buy it and in 9.1 it will be free,i will start to play drums,and i'll rent a nice house a next door from my dealer!

Elad it will not be a free upgrade in V9.1

I don't see this any where in the near future.

there was a big diffrence in price when it cam to the DWG & the Pro-e Converter in V8.

Jay, aka "CadCam" is correct. There will be no time when the Pro-E or STEP converter will be "free". This is because CNC Software pays a license fee to the developers of Pro-E, to produce the translator for the Mastercam end-user. The reason the DWG converter is now "free" is that the license fee CNC Software pays to AutoDesk, when spread over the Mastercam user base, is too minimal to consider passing it on to the Mastercam end-user, so they have simply absorbed the cost themselves and added the functionality. I hope this clarifies things a bit.
