Post question

I am trying to change the default NC extension in the post window.

Had job setup for a certain post,(mpokuma),and need it to have a default of .min instead of .nc...

I opened up my .pst file for that post and could not find anything that would help me out,unless I overlooked it.

Am I looking in the right spot?

Do a search in your .pst post file for sextnc.

It's done in the PST file with the vaule sextnc.

Example SEXTNC ".MIN"

Thanks guys,but I did a search and cannot find sextnc.

Searched for "nc" and got Inc,distance and other unrelated stuff.

Did a search for,(this sounds dirty) "sex" and came up with this as the only result:

 

psetup #Setup post based on NCI settings

home_type = mi1

sbufname3 = spathnci + snamenci + sextext

spathext = spathnci

snameext = snamenci

just a thought

 

i post without an extension on my programs, okuma will assign a .min extension ot the program when it is inputted into the machine.

 

once the program has run i output it and save it offline with the .min extension

 

this allows me some security in knowing that if a program contains the .min extension it has run before and i am trouble shooting setup only... not the program...

 

if no extension i am trouble shooting both

 

works well for me
