Gary, I have asked the same question a while ago, and Mick suggested this web page . Well the book came in, and it is great. I also purchased the Scripting Bible to go along with it. I wish that I could be quicker with it, but time won't allow it. Good luck.

Well I think the frist place would be look on the Web I have got over 50 turtoirals off of the WEb for doing it and made me a book and a folder on my computer for them. Go back through the forum and do a search od Vb and you woill see a alot use the mas templates to build from. There is also many example in the Vb folder in MCAM9 t olook at. i would then think if you can get a class and have the time take it always good to get ideas fro mtoehr people on how they apporach things.

Hope your enjoying the holidays. First get a copy vb pro edition. They have some good samples for vb programming that will give you the basics of making forms and manipulating data.

 

Then get some stuff on scripting.

 

Maybe you could convince Stallings to get you a copy for automating some stuff your doin now.(Yeah Right)

 

Give me a call also I have some stuff laying around I think that may help.
