I'm diggin the wheelmouse zoom! That is just awesome, what a keystroke saver.

 

My reason for this post is to get a list of everyting that everyone has "found" that has been a timesaver or a shortcut. Everyone uses the software alittle different so a collaberation of the shortcuts you find would be helpfull for all of us!

 

So what are the SIMPLE THINGS that you have found lately?

Well Jay it looks like you & I are the only ones that have found some cool shortcuts.

 

 

Any one else? I am always looking for things to speed up the process.

The new lead-in lead-out options are GREAT!

I don't know if this is new, but it saves me a bunch of time if I want to kill all the points in a drill operation.

 

You can select Del. Points and hold down the right AND left mouse buttons and hover it over the points and they evaporate pretty quickly.

All those that want Mastercam to add a 'Remove All Points' for Drill Operations please raise you hand.

Nice one James I just use the right & left buttons to delete points

thought i'd revive this one

can never get enough shortcuts

 

this ones handy, maybe alot know already

 

for multi part offsets once i have one toolpath group, copy the group right click- options-edit common parameters- and change work offset #

pretty handy except for having to regen.

I don't generally drink coffee. I take it intraveniously(sp?). When I put Emmetts(sp?) Irish Cream in it, I don't need the rum. (Yes, Emmetts, it doesn't coagulate(sp?) like Baileys does.)

This is old but may be unknown to some

Go backplot some tool path, left click and

hold on step, then tap the right mouse.

 

it will run till you let go of the right.

then stop.
